I'm a 34-year-old kid who is grateful to be producing movies for a living. What kind of movies? Doesn't matter as long as they're damn good.
Formal background from media studies, journalism, then a producing degree from the Norwegian National Film School at Lillehammer. In 2003 I co-founded Tordenfilm in Oslo, a production company for fiction films. Our feature credits are UNO (2004), The Bothersome Man (2006) and Sons (2006), the latter of which was my debut as feature film producer.
Lately, I've been co-producing a Swedish/Danish/Norwegian animation feature called Metropia (will be out in 2009) as well as the biggest production yet from Tordenfilm, the six-part drama series Norwegian Cozy, which will be aired in 2010.
In other interests, I like a lot of weird and wonderful films and music (ever hear the Secret Chiefs 3?) and I'm proud to be somewhat of a nerd. I also do a weekly Norwegian-language podcast called Filmfrelst together with the fine folks at http://montages.no.
